Bonaire, one of the “ABC Islands”, is about 50 miles (80 km) off the coast of Venezuela. It’s one of the most popular destinations in the world for snorkeling and scuba diving. The entire coastline of Bonaire is a marine sanctuary and strong efforts are being made to protect and preserve the coral reef and marine lives dependent on it. Bonaire is a special municipality of the Netherlands, so it’s residents are Dutch nationals. Aside from snorkeling and scuba diving, there’s a lot to see and do here!
